High Wind Warning issued March 14 at 1:43AM CDT until March 14 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS San Angelo TX* WHAT...West winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas mainly north of a SanAngelo to Brady line.* WHEN...From 7 AM this morning to 7 PM CDT this evening.* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.Power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especiallyfor high profile vehicles.A High Wind Warning means that dangerously strong winds of at least40 mph or gusts of 58 mph or higher are expected or occurring.Winds this strong will bring a threat to life and possibly causeproperty damage. Watch for downed trees and power lines. Secureloose outdoor objects. Expect hazardous driving conditions,especially for high profile vehicles. Caution should also be used ifboating on area lakes due to choppy waters. People should avoidbeing outside in forested areas and around trees and branches. Ifpossible, remain in the lower levels of your home during thewindstorm, and avoid windows.
