Special Weather Statement issued June 26 at 5:58PM EDT by NWS Jacksonville FLAt 558 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms alonga line extending from near Waverly to Kings Ferry. Movement wasnortheast at 25 mph.HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.SOURCE...Radar indicated.IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow aroundunsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation ispossible.Locations impacted include...St. Marys, Kingsland, Brunswick, Woodbine, Dock Junction, Kings BayBase, Kings Ferry, Waynesville, Waverly, and Country Club Estates.If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may leadto localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through floodedroadways.

Flood Advisory issued June 26 at 6:28PM EDT until June 26 at 8:30PM EDT by NWS Jacksonville FL* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessiverainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of southeast Georgia, including the followingcounties, Camden and Glynn.* WHEN...Until 830 PM EDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 628 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. This is causing urban and small streamflooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas have already causedminor flooding in the advisory area.
