This approaches the flood of record.* WHERE...Missouri River near Blair.* WHEN...Until late Monday morning.* IMPACTS...At 33.5 feet, Water reaches levels not seen since theflood of 1952. Major flooding will be occurring from Blair toFort Calhoun.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 8:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 31.2 feet...or 4.7feet above flood stage.- Bankfull stage is 27.0 feet.- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24hours was 31.5 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 31.8feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stageearly Monday morning.- Flood stage is 26.5 feet.Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
